Patchwork Moon Designs

Born and raised in Dayton, Ohio, Susan lives with her husband Larry, in Centerville, Ohio. They have 4 children Eric, Kristen, Heather and Michael and 4 grandchildren. Susan also has a 'Fantastic' little dog named Tiki and 2 cats Fluffy and Ebony. Tiki literally goes everywhere with Susan.

Susan keeps extremely busy with running Patchwork Moon Designs and writing books. She also finds time for yet another passion, teaching. Susan has been teaching Adult Education in quilting for about 10 years. She loves to teach and will travel anywhere, offering her skills and talents.

Unbelievably, there is yet a ‘wild racy’ side to Susan. She loves to drag race her Mustang Cobra. In fact, she is awaiting delivery of her new 2003 Mustang Cobra in April.

Susan and her family enjoy their 2nd home in Key West, Florida and have plans to retire there in the winter and spend summers in Ohio. One of her dreams is to build a log home and hold quilting retreats there.

Beside her creative and racy sides there is a quiet, gentleness in Susan. It shows in her love for her family, nature and beauty of the world. Susan has plans for incorporate that passion into designing a quilt with a garden theme or an outdoor theme. Her newest creation 'Kansas Wildflowers' is due for release in about a month, May 2002.

Susan, marvels at how far she has come and is so pleased at the direction her quilting career is going. Patchwork Moon was most recently honored when 7 designs were selected to be featured in JoAnn Fabrics stores. With 967 locations across the USA, you will be sure to find a store near you!
